Account & API Keys

In order to follow the next steps of this tutorial, you will have to create an API Key and save it somewhere safe.

Do I really need an API Key?

  • If you plan to only work via the GUI and do not intend to use the SDK or the API, then you may ignore this part. In that case, you may generate API keys on the fly while creating a new Workstation and leave it there.
  • However, you will need an API key if you want to work via the SDK or the API.

Group selection

The group selected during the API Key creation is the one in which you will create or retrieve resources.
